Kristy McDonald (Winnipeg, MB) qualified for the 2015 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1 playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-2 against EunJung Kim (Uiseong, KOR). of the 2015 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Paradise, Newfoundland / Labrador;

McDonald finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McDonald defeated Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) 6-5, then went on to lose 5-2 against Chelsea Carey (Calgary, AB). McDonald responded with a 7-5 win over Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON). McDonald won 4-3 against Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS) in their final qualifying round match.
