Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the 2015 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1 playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-6 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB). of the 2015 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Paradise, Newfoundland / Labrador;

Bottcher finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bottcher defeated Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK) 6-4, then went on to lose 4-3 against Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste. Marie, ON). Bottcher responded with a 7-1 win over Sven Michel (Adelboden, SUI). Bottcher won 5-3 against Glenn Howard (Penetanguishene, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
