Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) run at the 2015 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1 came to an end in the semifinals with a 5-3 loss to Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). of the 2015 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Paradise, Newfoundland / Labrador; McEwen advanced through the quarterfinals with a 6-1 win over Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste. Marie, ON). of the 2015 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Paradise, Newfoundland / Labrador;

McEwen finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McEwen defeated Peter De Cruz (Geneve, SUI) 3-2, then won 6-5 against John Epping (Toronto, ON) and 6-5 against John Shuster (Duluth, USA). McEwen went on to lose 5-4 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

McEwen earned 45.783 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 619.783 total points. McEwen ranks 8th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 45.783 points earned so far this season.
