James Grattan (Oromocto , NB) qualified for the 2015 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2 playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-4 against Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC).
 
Grattan finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Grattan lost 4-2 to Kyle Smith (Perth, SCO), droppimg another game, 7-2 to Mark Kean (Stoney Creek, ON) where Grattan responded with a 6-2 win over Travis Fanset (Brantford, ON). Grattan won 6-5 against Rick Rowsell (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Grattan earned 14.241 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2, moving up 36 spots the World Ranking Standings into 54th place overall with 32.759 total points. Grattan ranks 28th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 14.241 points earned so far this season.
