Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) won 5-3 over Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) in the Final of the Masters of Curling, held October 27 - November 1, 2015 in Truro, Nova Scotia. To advance to the championship game, McEwen won 5-4 over Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2015 Masters of Curling in Truro, Nova Scotia; and won 7-4 over Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 Masters of Curling in Truro, Nova Scotia;
 
McEwen finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McEwen defeated Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK) 7-1, then won 7-4 against Shawn Adams (Halifax, NS) and 8-2 against Pat Simmons (Calgary, AB). McEwen went on to lose 5-4 against Koe in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Masters of Curling Championship title, McEwen earned 83.396 world rankings points along with the $24,500CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 838.186 total points. McEwen ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 264.186 points earned so far this season.
