Dean Joanisse (New Westminster, BC) lost 6-1 to Pat Simmons (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic, held October 2 - 5, 2015 at the Vernon Curling Club in Vernon, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Joanisse won 9-7 over Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) in the semifinals of the 2015 Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada; and won 6-5 over Brady Clark (Seattle, WA) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Joanisse finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Joanisse defeated Dave Merklinger (Vernon, BC) 6-4, then won 5-1 against Simmons and 8-1 against Clark. Joanisse went on to lose 5-4 against Cotter. Joanisse responded with a 7-0 win over Stephen Schneider (Vancouver/Vernon, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic, Joanisse take home 21.694 world rankings points along with the $4,000CDN prize, moving up 18 spots the World Ranking Standings into 37th place overall with 60.574 total points. Joanisse ranks 21st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 35.364 points earned so far this season.
