To advance to the championship game, Howard won 7-2 over Jean-Michel Menard (Quebec, QC) in the semifinals of the 2015 AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada; and won 7-2 over Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada;
 
Howard finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Howard defeated Greg Balsdon (Kingston, ON) 6-1, then won 6-1 against Chris Gardner (Ottawa, ON) and 6-1 against Mark Kean (Stoney Creek, ON). Howard won 6-2 against Guy Hemmings (Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, QC), then won 4-0 against Edin in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic, Howard take home 47.090 world rankings points along with the $7,500CDN prize, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 11th place overall with 222.338 total points.
