Tuck Jr. finished 3-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tuck Jr. defeated Deruelle 7-2, then won 8-3 against Bruce McConnell (Waterloo, ON). Tuck Jr. went on to lose 7-2 against Jake Walker (Peterborough, ON). Tuck Jr. responded with a 8-2 win over Katie Cottrill (Listowel, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Port Elgin Superspiel, Tuck Jr. take home 14.335 world rankings points along with the $3,500CDN prize, moving up 35 spots the World Ranking Standings into 96th place overall with 34.055 total points.
