Jason Vaughan (saint john, NB) lost 6-4 to Jamie Murphy (Halifax, NS) in the Final of the WFG Jim Sullivan Curling Classic, held December 4 - 6, 2015 at the Thistle St. Andrews Curling Club in Saint John, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Vaughan won 4-2 over Brent MacDougall (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2015 WFG Jim Sullivan Curling Classic in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada; and won 8-4 over Jeremy Mallais (Saint John , NB) in the quarterfinals.
 
Vaughan finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Vaughan lost 6-2 to Glen MacLeod (Halifax, NS), then responded with a 7-4 win over Mitch Downey (Saint John, NB). Vaughan won 7-2 against Mike Flemming (Halifax, NS), then won 6-3 against Wayne Tallon (Fredericton, NB) and 5-3 against Dave Sullivan (Saint John, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the WFG Jim Sullivan Curling Classic, Vaughan take home 11.145 world rankings points along with the $3,300CDN prize, moving up 121 spots the World Ranking Standings into 173rd place overall with 14.925 total points. Vaughan ranks 149th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 11.145 points earned so far this season.
