Alina Paetz (Zurich, SUI) lost 9-8 to Kelsey Rocque (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Red Deer Curling Classic, held October 23 - 26, 2015 in Red Deer, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Paetz won 7-6 over Chelsea Carey (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2015 Red Deer Curling Classic in Red Deer, Alberta; and won 7-1 over Kalynn Park (Lethbridge, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 Red Deer Curling Classic in Red Deer, Alberta;
 
Paetz finished 3-0 in the 22-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Paetz defeated Nicky Kaufman (Edmonton, AB) 8-0, then won 7-1 against Lindsay Makichuk (Edmonton, AB) and 5-4 against Carey in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Red Deer Curling Classic, Paetz take home 32.247 world rankings points along with the $6,000CDN prize, remaining in 5th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 473.220 total points.
