Brothers won 8-7 against Sylvie Robichaud (Moncton, NB). Brothers went on to lose 7-5 against Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, CAN). Brothers lost 8-2 to Chelsea Carey (Calgary, AB) where Brothers responded with a 7-4 win over Stacie Curtis (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

Brothers earned 12.220 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 55th place overall with 92.480 total points. Brothers ranks 41st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 86.426 points earned so far this season.
