Chelsea Carey (Calgary, AB) won 8-5 over Val Sweeting (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Jiffy Lube Alberta Scotties, held January 20 - 24, 2016 at the North Hill Curling Club in Calgary, Canada.

Carey finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Carey defeated Nicky Kaufman (Edmonton, AB) 7-5, then won 9-1 against Deanne Nichol (Edmonton, AB). Carey went on to lose 8-3 against Sweeting. Carey responded with a 9-7 win over Jessie Kaufman (Edmonton, AB). Carey won 5-4 against Shannon Kleibrink (Coaldale, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Jiffy Lube Alberta Scotties Championship title, Carey earned 27.195 world rankings points.
