Muirhead won 9-3 against Lene Nielsen (Hvidovre, DEN), then won 6-5 against Oona Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN) and 7-1 against Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS). Muirhead went on to lose 7-6 against Binia Feltscher (Flims, SUI). Muirhead lost 10-4 to Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN). Muirhead lost 9-4 to Chelsea Carey (Calgary, CAN) in their final qualifying round match.
Muirhead earned 17.747 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 4th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 9.977 after improving upon their best so far this season. Muirhead ranks 7th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 266.458 points earned so far this season.
