Fujisawa went on to lose 11-4 against Lene Nielsen (Hvidovre, DEN). Fujisawa responded with a 6-5 win over Ji-Sun Kim (gyeonggido, KOR). Fujisawa went on to lose 7-4 against Feltscher. Fujisawa responded with a 8-4 win over Margaretha Sigfridsson (Sundsvall, SWE). Fujisawa won 8-1 against Daniela Driendl (Fï¿½ssen , GER), then won 7-4 against Erika Brown (Madison, USA) and 10-4 against Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO). Fujisawa won 11-2 against Chelsea Carey (Calgary, CAN) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Ford World Women's Curling Championship, Fujisawa take home 55.777 world rankings points. Fujisawa move up 12 spots after posting a net gain of 53.663 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 22nd overall with 205.279 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Fujisawa ranks 19th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 156.546 points earned so far this season.
