MacDiarmid won 1-0 against Shelly Graham (Fredericton, NB), then won 1-0 against Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.

MacDiarmid earned 12.431 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel, moving up 15 spots the World Ranking Standings into 76th place overall with 33.316 total points. MacDiarmid ranks 62nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 20.393 points earned so far this season.
