Jake Higgs (Ottawa, ON) won 6-4 over Richard Krell (Waterloo, ON) in the Final of the Scugog Cup Cash Spiel, held November 27 - 29, 2015 at the Port Perry Community Curling Club in Port Perry, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Higgs won 7-5 over Chris Glibota (Sault Ste. Marie, NONT) in the semifinals of the 2015 Scugog Cup Cash Spiel in Port Perry, Ontario, Canada;
 
Higgs finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Higgs defeated Dave Fischer (Oshawa, ON) 5-4, then won 5-1 against Jim Bell (Unionville, ON). Higgs went on to lose 5-4 against Nick Moffatt (Oshawa, ON). Higgs responded with a 7-2 win over Nathan Martin (Oshawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Scugog Cup Cash Spiel Championship title, Higgs earned 11.025 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 78th place overall with 54.174 total points. Higgs ranks 73rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 33.753 points earned so far this season.
