Mattatall finished 5-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mattatall defeated Carina McKay-Saturnino (Halifax, NS) 6-3, then won 5-4 against Colleen Jones (Halifax, NS) and 6-4 against McConnery. Mattatall won 9-5 against Jocelyn Nix (Kentville, NS), then won 5-3 against Emily Dwyer (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the New Scotland Clothing Ladies Cashspiel, Mattatall take home 11.805 world rankings points along with the $1,000CDN prize, moving up 60 spots the World Ranking Standings into 100th place overall with 15.160 total points. Mattatall ranks 69th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.203 points earned so far this season.
