Fay finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fay defeated Tanya Phillips (Halifax, NS) 8-2, then went on to lose 8-5 against Monica Moriarty (Halifax, NS). Fay responded with a 11-8 win over Julie McEvoy (Halifax, NS). Fay won 7-2 against Christie Gamble (Halifax, NS), then won 7-4 against Shannon Tatlock (Moncton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
