McCarville won 3-1 against Barb Payette (Duluth, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Molson Cash Spiel Championship title, McCarville earned 15.294 world rankings points along with the $2,937CDN first prize cheque, moving up 9 spots the World Ranking Standings into 51st place overall with 74.585 total points.
