Roth finished 4-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Roth defeated Clark 9-5, then won 7-5 against Emily Brekke (Duluth, MN) and 7-0 against Norma O'Leary (Duluth, MN). Roth won 8-3 against Minnesota's Courtney George in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Molson Cash Spiel, Roth take home 12.016 world rankings points along with the $2,136CDN prize, remaining in 32nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 135.253 total points.
