Smith went on to lose 7-4 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Smith earned 11.588 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the EURONICS European Masters, remaining in 28th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 4.678 after improving upon their best so far this season.
