Selzer finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Selzer defeated Alyssa Despins (Saskatoon, SK) 7-6, then won 6-2 against Saskatchewan's Patty Hersikorn and 6-3 against Shalon Fleming (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Heritage Inn SWCT Spiel Championship title, Selzer earned 14.175 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 52 spots the World Ranking Standings into 115th place overall with 20.563 total points. Selzer ranks 88th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 16.935 points earned so far this season.
