Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI) won 8-5 over Colleen Pinkney (Truro, NS) in the Final of the Sobeys Classic, held October 1 - 4, 2015 in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. To advance to the championship game, Birt won 7-4 over Jocelyn Nix (Kentville, NS) in the semifinals

Birt finished 5-0 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Birt defeated Jill Brothers (halifax, NS) 8-4, then won 6-4 against Emily Dwyer (Halifax, NS) and 9-3 against Nix. Birt won 7-1 against Pinkney, then won 8-6 against Shelly Bradley (Charlottetown, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Sobeys Classic Championship title, Birt earned 0.000 world rankings points along with the $2,100CDN first prize cheque. For week 7 of the event schedule, Birt did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 36th to 37th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 55.449 total points. Birt ranks 21st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 39.893 points earned so far this season.
