Brent MacDougall (Halifax, NS) qualified for the 2015 Sobeys Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-2 against Doug MacKenzie (Windsor, NS). of the 2015 Sobeys Classic in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia;

MacDougall finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacDougall defeated Stuart Thompson (Halifax, NS) 4-3, then won 7-6 against Mike Kennedy (Moncton, NB) and 8-3 against Glen MacLeod (Halifax, NS). MacDougall went on to lose 8-2 against Jamie Murphy (Halifax, NS). MacDougall lost 6-4 to Mike Flemming (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

MacDougall earned 9.301 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Sobeys Classic, moving up 23 spots the World Ranking Standings into 79th place overall with 28.142 total points. MacDougall ranks 37th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 24.526 points earned so far this season.
