Higgs went on to lose 7-5 against Dayna Deruelle (Brampton, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Higgs earned 5.362 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 73rd place overall with 70.674 total points. Higgs ranks 74th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 50.253 points earned so far this season.
