Penny Barker (Moose Jaw, SK) lost 4-2 to Saskatchewan's Patty Hersikorn in the Final of the Saskatoon Nutana SCT Classic, held October 2 - 4, 2015 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. To advance to the championship game, Barker won 7-5 over Nancy Martin (Martensville, SK) in the semifinals of the 2015 Saskatoon Nutana SCT Classic in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and won 7-1 over Robyn Silvernagle (North Battleford, SK) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 Saskatoon Nutana SCT Classic in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan;

Barker finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Barker lost 6-4 to Shalon Fleming (Regina, SK), then responded with a 5-4 win over Mandy Selzer (Balgonie, SK). Barker won 8-3 against Kristie Moore (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Saskatoon Nutana SCT Classic, Barker take home 14.484 world rankings points along with the $1,400CDN prize, moving up 23 spots the World Ranking Standings into 65th place overall with 30.238 total points. Barker ranks 51st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 14.484 points earned so far this season.
