Doran won 5-4 against Colin Koivula (Thunder Bay, ON). Doran went on to lose 8-3 against Trevor Bonot (Thunder Bay, ON). Doran lost 7-6 to Al Hackner (Thunder Bay, ON) where Doran responded with a 8-4 win over McCarville in their final qualifying round match.

Doran earned 6.916 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the TBaytel Mens Major League of Curling, moving up 327 spots the World Ranking Standings into 280th place overall with 6.916 total points.
