Alexandra Friesen (Winnipeg, MB) won 6-4 over Shae Bevan (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Morris MJCT Women's Bonspiel, held March 24 - 26, 2017 in Morris, Manitoba. To advance to the championship game, Friesen won 5-3 over Mackenzie Zacharias (Altona, MB) in the semifinals
 
Friesen finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Friesen defeated Lauren Beaudry (Winnipeg, MB) 6-1, then went on to lose 6-5 against Brooke Friesen (Winkler, MB). Friesen responded with a 6-3 win over Bevan. Friesen won 8-4 against Cheyenne Ehnes (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
