Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) won 7-3 over Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Home Hardware Canada Cup of Curling, held December 2 - 6, 2015 in Grande Prairie, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Koe won 7-6 over John Epping (Toronto, ON) in the semifinals of the 2015 Home Hardware Canada Cup of Curling in Grande Prairie, Alberta;
Koe finished 5-2 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe defeated Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) 8-5, then won 7-6 against Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste. Marie, ON) and 8-6 against Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK). Koe went on to lose 9-5 against Epping. Koe responded with a 7-4 win over Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB). Koe went on to lose 5-4 against McEwen. Koe responded with a 7-4 win over Pat Simmons (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Home Hardware Canada Cup of Curling Championship title, Koe earned 86.379 world rankings points along with the $21,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 4th place overall with 661.534 total points. Koe ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 376.074 points earned so far this season.
