Northern Ontario's Doug Hagerman lost 12-5 to British Columbia's Ron Thompson where Northern Ontario's Doug Hagerman responded with a 11-8 win over Quebec's Myron Nussey. Northern Ontario's Doug Hagerman won 6-5 against Ontario's Fred Osburn. Northern Ontario's Doug Hagerman went on to lose 15-9 against Prince Edward Island's Don Carmichael.
