6-5 to Elena Stern (Wetzikon, SUI), then responded with a 6-4 win over Lisa Gisler (Bern, SUI). Hegner won 6-5 against Isabelle Maillard (Uitikon, SUI), then won 11-2 against Tanja Santschi (Bern, SUI) and 6-5 against Alisha Mathis (Schaffhausen, SUI). Hegner won 8-6 against Melanie Barbezat (Biel, SUI). Hegner went on to lose 9-7 against Michele Jaeggi (Bern, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Swiss Curling League, Hegner take home 7.313 world rankings points, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 76th place overall with 51.393 total points.
