Wunderlin went on to lose 6-3 against De Cruz. Wunderlin lost 10-3 to Schwaller where Wunderlin responded with a 9-1 win over Hess in their final qualifying round match.

Wunderlin earned 2.309 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 145th place overall with 29.118 total points. Wunderlin ranks 137th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 19.952 points earned so far this season.
