In their opening game, Skaslien lost 8-5 to Dorottya Palancsa (Budapest, HUN), droppimg another game, 6-3 to Alina Paetz (Zurich, SUI). Skaslien lost 9-1 to Cissi Ostlund (Karlstad, SWE) where Skaslien responded with a 9-6 win over Maile Molder (Tallinn, EST). Skaslien won 9-7 against Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS). Skaslien went on to lose 8-6 against Oona Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Skaslien responded with a 8-5 win over Lene Nielsen (Hvidovre, DEN). Skaslien went on to lose 9-4 against Daniela Driendl (Fï¿½ssen , GER). Skaslien lost 9-4 to Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Skaslien earned 5.686 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 19 spots the World Ranking Standings into 139th place overall with 13.659 total points. Skaslien ranks 134th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 9.659 points earned so far this season.
