In their opening game, Flaxey defeated Emma Joyce (Lindsay, ON) 10-5, then won 7-3 against Kerry Lackie (Kitchener, ON) and 9-3 against Mallory Kean (Stoney Creek, ON). Flaxey won 6-5 against Julie Tippin (Woodstock, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Ontario Scotties Qualifier Championship title, Flaxey earned 19.425 world rankings points. Flaxey move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 18.032 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 19th overall with 201.205 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Flaxey ranks 12th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 175.064 points earned so far this season.
