In their opening game, Lackie defeated Ashley Waye (Toronto, ON) 9-8, then went on to lose 7-3 against Allison Flaxey (Caledon, ON). Lackie responded with a 5-2 win over Tracey Jones (Arthur, ON). Lackie went on to lose 10-3 against Karri-Lee Grant (Thornhill, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Lackie earned 1.388 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 170th place overall with 8.810 total points. Lackie ranks 174th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.364 points earned so far this season.
