Julie Tippin (Woodstock, ON) finished 4-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tippin defeated Karri-Lee Grant (Thornhill, ON) 8-2, then won 7-3 against Susan Froud (Stroud, ON) and 6-5 against Jacqueline Harrison (Mississauga, ON). Tippin went on to lose 6-5 against Allison Flaxey (Caledon, ON). Tippin responded with a 5-4 win over Stephanie Van Huyse (Scarborough, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Ontario Scotties Qualifier, Tippin take home 15.263 world rankings points, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 37th place overall with 118.216 total points. Tippin ranks 21st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 104.353 points earned so far this season.
