Van Huyse won 10-6 against Susan Froud (Stroud, ON), then won 6-5 against Mallory Kean (Stoney Creek, ON) and 6-4 against Harrison. Van Huyse went on to lose 5-4 against Julie Tippin (Woodstock, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
