In their opening game, Hanna defeated Susan Froud (Stroud, ON) 8-6, then went on to lose 9-7 against Erin Morrissey (Ottawa, ON). Hanna responded with a 10-8 win over Stephanie Van Huyse (Scarborough, ON). Hanna won 8-4 against Danielle Inglis (Ottawa, ON), then won 5-4 against Rhonda Varnes (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Ontario Scotties Qualifier, Hanna take home 11.798 world rankings points, moving up 14 spots the World Ranking Standings into 73rd place overall with 50.778 total points. Hanna ranks 66th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 38.880 points earned so far this season.
