Flaxey responded with a 6-4 win over Julie Hastings (Thornhill, ON). Flaxey went on to lose 6-4 against Jacqueline Harrison (Mississauga, ON). Flaxey responded with a 10-6 win over Cathy Auld (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Flaxey earned 3.569 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 23 of the event schedule, Flaxey did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 20th place on the World Ranking Standings with 201.205 total points. Flaxey ranks 15th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 175.064 points earned so far this season.
