Jenn Hanna (Ottawa, ON) won 10-8 over Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the Ontario Scotties, held January 16 - 24, 2016 at the Brampton Curling Club in Brampton, Canada. 
 
Hanna finished 6-3 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hanna lost 7-6 to Julie Tippin (Woodstock, ON), then responded with a 9-4 win over Jacqueline Harrison (Mississauga, ON). Hanna went on to lose 6-2 against Cathy Auld (Toronto, ON). Hanna responded with a 6-4 win over Allison Flaxey (Caledon, ON). Hanna went on to lose 8-7 against Homan. Hanna responded with a 10-4 win over Julie Hastings (Thornhill, ON). Hanna won 6-5 against Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON), then won 7-4 against Erin Morrissey (Ottawa, ON) and 9-5 against Mallory Kean (Stoney Creek, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Ontario Scotties Championship title, Hanna earned 33.306 world rankings points, moving up 17 spots the World Ranking Standings into 57th place overall with 84.084 total points. Hanna ranks 49th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 72.186 points earned so far this season.
