Andrew Nerpin (Kelowna, BC) finished 2-2 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Nerpin defeated Mark Longworth (Vernon, BC) 10-5, then won 7-6 against Darren Nelson (Kamloops, BC). Nerpin went on to lose 9-2 against Jeff Richard (Kelowna, BC). Nerpin lost 10-7 to Longworth in their final qualifying round match.

Nerpin earned 0.263 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
