Wes Craig (Victoria, BC) finished 3-0 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Craig defeated Cameron de Jong (Victoria, BC) 9-7, then won 8-3 against Neil Dangerfield (Victoria, BC) and 10-7 against Jason Montgomery (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the BC CDI Island Playdowns Championship title, Craig earned 4.200 world rankings points. For week 17 of the event schedule, Craig did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Craig ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
