Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC) finished 5-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tardi defeated Kris Wright (Vancouver, BC) 11-2, then went on to lose 9-1 against Stephen Schneider (Vancouver, BC). Tardi responded with a 9-6 win over Al Roemer (Delta, BC). Tardi went on to lose 7-6 against Tyler Klymchuk (New Westminster, BC). Tardi responded with a 10-9 win over Kent Bird (Abbotsford, BC). Tardi won 5-3 against Richard Brower (White Rock, BC), then won 7-3 against Klymchuk in their final qualifying round match.

Tardi earned 5.578 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the BC CDI Lower Mainland Playdowns. For week 17 of the event schedule, Tardi did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Tardi ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
