Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK) lost 7-4 to Jolene Campbell (Regina, SK) in the Final of the Saskatchewan Viterra Scotties, held January 27 - 31, 2016 at the Prince Albert Golf and Curling Club in Prince Albert, Canada.

Lawton finished 5-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lawton defeated Kim Schneider (Kronau, SK) 9-5, then won 8-4 against Nancy Inglis (Regina, SK) and 8-5 against Nancy Martin (Martensville, SK). Lawton won 7-3 against Kristie Moore (Regina, SK), then won 7-1 against Campbell in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Saskatchewan Viterra Scotties, Lawton take home 19.058 world rankings points, remaining in 18th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 17.878 after improving upon their best so far this season. Lawton ranks 14th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 188.286 points earned so far this season.
