Ryan LeDrew (Sarnia, ON) finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, LeDrew lost 4-3 to Jon St. Denis (Stouffville, ON), then responded with a 6-4 win over Eric Bradey (St. Catharines, ON). LeDrew won 10-4 against Codey Maus (London, ON), then won 6-5 against St. Denis. LeDrew went on to lose 8-7 against Rob Retchless (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

LeDrew earned 2.166 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 116th place overall with 34.742 total points. LeDrew ranks 88th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 34.667 points earned so far this season.
