In their opening game, Link defeated Laurie Deprez (Stonewall, MB) 9-3, then went on to lose 10-3 against Kristy Watling (East St. Paul, MB). Link responded with a 7-1 win over Rebecca Lamb (Stonewall, MB). Link won 6-2 against Watling, then won 5-3 against Watling in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Manitoba Scotties - Interlake Regional Championship title, Link earned 4.200 world rankings points, dropping 5 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 53rd place overall with 84.480 total points. Link ranks 43rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 63.745 points earned so far this season.
