Lisa Menard (Dauphin, MB) finished 3-1 in the 3-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Menard defeated Melissa Barsewsky (Dauphin, MB) 9-5, then won 8-5 against Tiffany McLean (Dauphin, MB). Menard went on to lose 7-6 against McLean. Menard responded with a 9-6 win over McLean in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Manitoba Scotties - Parkland Regional Championship title, Menard earned 3.150 world rankings points, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 103rd place overall with 28.508 total points. Menard ranks 81st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 27.793 points earned so far this season.
