Joelle Brown (Winnipeg, MB) run at the 2016 AMCC Ladies Open came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-6 loss to Kim Link (East St. Paul, MB).  
 
Brown finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown defeated Michelle Wiens (Winnipeg, MB) 6-5, then won 5-4 against Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB). Brown went on to lose 5-1 against Janet Harvey (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 21 of the event schedule, Brown did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 45th to 46th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 101.365 total points. Brown ranks 31st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 88.624 points earned so far this season.
