Michaud went on to lose 5-4 against Calwell. Michaud responded with a 8-1 win over Russell Cuddie (London, ON). Michaud won 5-3 against James Harris (Paris, ON). Michaud went on to lose 9-6 against Doug Kee (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
