After advancing directly to the championship game, Layton MacCabe (Moncton, NB) lost 6-5 to Alex Robichaud (Moncton, NB) in the Final of the New Brunswick Junior Men, held December 28 - 31, 2015 at the Riverside Golf and Curling Club in Saint John, Canada.
 
MacCabe finished 5-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacCabe defeated Adam Tracy (Fredericton, NB) 6-5, then won 9-8 against Trevor Crouse (Fredericton, NB) and 10-1 against Liam Marin (Saint John, NB). MacCabe went on to lose 9-3 against Rene Comeau (Fredericton, NB). MacCabe responded with a 7-4 win over Tracy. MacCabe won 8-6 against Robichaud. MacCabe went on to lose 10-6 against Jack Smeltzer-McCausland (Fredericton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week of the event schedule, MacCabe did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. MacCabe ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
